Knife and tool laws vary by country, state, province, county, and city. You are solely responsible for knowing and following the laws that apply to you. Our acceptance or shipment of an order is not a representation that a product is lawful in your location.

We may refuse, restrict, or cancel an order when we reasonably believe the sale or shipment may violate law, carrier rules, payment-network rules, or our responsible-sales standards.

2. Products and Product Information

We try to present product descriptions, specifications, colors, dimensions, materials, images, and availability accurately. Displays and photography may cause minor differences in color or appearance. Measurements and weights may have reasonable manufacturing tolerances.

We may update, improve, discontinue, or limit products or product variants at any time. Product information on the website does not replace safe-use instructions, care guidance, or local legal requirements.

3. Prices, Taxes, and Payment

Prices are shown in the currency displayed at checkout and may change without notice. Unless stated otherwise, prices do not include applicable taxes, duties, customs charges, brokerage fees, or other government assessments.

You agree to provide complete and accurate billing information and authorize us and our payment providers to charge the selected payment method for the total shown at checkout. We may correct pricing or calculation errors and, when appropriate, contact you before fulfilling the affected order.

4. Orders and Acceptance

An order confirmation means that we received your order; it does not necessarily mean that we accepted it. We may verify information, impose quantity limits, refuse service, or cancel an order for reasons including suspected fraud, inventory errors, payment issues, shipping restrictions, resale activity, or legal and safety concerns.

If we cancel a paid order before fulfillment, we will issue an appropriate refund to the original payment method.

5. Shipping and Delivery

Shipping estimates are estimates, not guaranteed delivery dates. Delays can occur because of carriers, customs, weather, address problems, inspections, or events outside our reasonable control.

Customers are responsible for providing a complete and deliverable shipping address and for complying with import and local product restrictions. International customers may be responsible for duties, taxes, fees, or refused-entry costs where permitted by law.

6. Returns, Exchanges, and Warranty

Returns, exchanges, and warranty claims are governed by our Returns & Warranty Policy. Eligibility may depend on the condition of the product, the date of delivery, proof of purchase, and exclusions described in that policy.

Do not return a product without following the stated return instructions. Products that have been misused, altered, improperly maintained, or damaged through ordinary wear may not qualify, except where applicable law requires otherwise.

7. Safe and Responsible Product Use

Hopian products include sharp tools. Improper handling can cause serious injury or property damage. Always:

• follow product instructions and ordinary safety practices;
• keep knives and tools secured and away from children and unauthorized users;
• inspect the product before use and stop using it if damaged or unsafe;
• use the right tool for the intended task; and
• comply with all purchase, carry, transport, storage, and use laws.

Do not use our products for unlawful threats, violence, self-harm, or any prohibited purpose. Nothing on the website is legal, safety, or professional advice.

8. Accounts

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for activity under your account. Notify us promptly if you believe your account has been accessed without authorization.

We may remove content that is misleading, unlawful, abusive, infringing, or unrelated.

11. Prohibited Conduct

You may not use the Services to:

To the extent permitted by law, you agree to indemnify and hold Hopian harmless from third-party claims, liabilities, damages, and reasonable costs arising from your unlawful use of the Services, violation of these Terms, infringement of another person’s rights, or unlawful purchase, possession, transfer, carry, or use of a product.

18. Termination

These Terms and any separate agreements through which we provide the Services are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States, except where mandatory consumer-protection law in your place of residence applies.
